Meet Our Founder:
Princess V. Lyles
My journey in education and nonprofit leadership began after I transitioned from practicing corporate law, seeking work that aligned more deeply with my values. I saw firsthand the systemic challenges facing schools and communities, and I felt called to help address them with strategy and heart.
Over nearly two decades, I’ve had the privilege of leading and collaborating with organizations dedicated to educational equity and social justice, including Democracy Prep Public Schools, Educators for Excellence, Democracy Builders, and Manhattan Country School. These experiences have shaped my belief in the power of community engagement, strategic focus, and compassionate leadership, especially during times of transition.
I’ve worked in cities across the country, partnering with local organizations to implement solutions that help students and communities thrive. My mission is to help educational institutions and nonprofits do what they do best—better—through clear strategy, community-centered leadership, and a deep commitment to equity and excellence for all.
Meet: Nikki Berryman
About Us
Nikki Berryman is a strategic consultant with a multifaceted background in communications, fundraising, and audience engagement across the education, media, legal, and nonprofit sectors. She brings a relationship-centered approach to messaging and development—building trust, deepening community ties, and driving mission-aligned growth.
She has led communications and digital engagement strategies for national media outlets and educational institutions, and worked within an institutional advancement office managing fundraising campaigns, alumni engagement, and donor communications. Her expertise includes database management, content strategy, social media, and event-based outreach—all grounded in a research-informed approach to storytelling and audience analysis.
At The P. Lyles Group, Nikki partners with mission-driven organizations to design and implement strategies that advance institutional priorities. Her cross-sector experience and collaborative mindset make her a trusted resource for clients seeking to engage families, alumni, and key stakeholders more effectively.
Her work is rooted in formal research experience, with a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Bennett College and graduate studies in Environmental Medicine at New York University.
Meet: Jenna D. Bunin
About Us
My journey in the nonprofit and education sectors has been driven by a passion for mental health, social justice, and community-centered impact. With a background in writing, communications, and early childhood care, I’ve supported mission-driven organizations in bringing their visions to life with clarity and purpose.
Most recently, I served as an Advancement Associate at Manhattan Country School, where I managed donor stewardship, event production, and fundraising operations, and continue to support the school during its transition. I’ve also contributed to development efforts at LSA Family Health Service and Teachers & Writers Collaborative, helping coordinate events, manage data, and create materials that connect organizations to their communities.
Currently completing a dual Bachelor’s in Studio Art and Psychology at Hunter College, I’m committed to expanding my work in education and nonprofit spaces with empathy, research-based insights, and a collaborative spirit. Looking ahead, I plan to pursue a master’s in Art Therapy to continue supporting young children through creative, therapeutic approaches.
